Three South Sound football players selected to U.S. Army football combine

Three South Sound football players have been selected to participate in the 2010 U.S. Army National Combine next week in San Antonio, Texas. Juniors Cornelius Edison of Curtis, Ionatana Pritchard of Clover Park and Dalton Blackmore of Kentwood will join the nation’s top junior prospects at the Alamodome.

Four other Washington players have been selected. They are: Justin Lane of Lakewood High School, Alec Martin of Wenatchee and Charlie Hopkins and Bishop Sankey of Gonzaga Prep.

The combine takes place Jan. 7-9, during “Bowl Week” of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. Lakes defensive tackle Sione Potoa’e and Skyline quarterback Jake
