Games postponed again for Tuesday

Games in the South Sound were postponed again because of overnight snow that blanketed the Puget Sound region.

Dave Lutes, Kent School District athletic director, said SPSL league coaches will meet on Thursday to finalize a make-up schedule for the missed games.

The Tacoma School District and Peninsula School District closed schools on Tuesday, so Narrows League games scheduled for Wednesday will be at the hands of Mother Nature on whether or not they will be played. I’ll have an update later in the day once I find out more.

As for the SPSL games missed on Friday, Dec. 15, most of those games will be rescheduled to Jan. 6th, unless there is a facility conflict.

Basketball games and other athletic events scheduled for the Narrows, South Puget Sound, Western Cascade, Nisqually and Olympic leagues were cancelled and will be rescheduled for later in the year.

Games scheduled for Saturday in the Puget Sound region will go on as scheduled, depending on the individual facility’s ability to handle the event.
