In a matchup of the past two Elite Division men’s winners, defending champion Douglass Properties defeated Mamma’s Boys – made up of the Shelton siblings of Lincoln High School – 20-12, in the Spokane 3-on-3 Hoopfest semifinals at Nike Center Court in Spokane.

Nik Raivio sank a long 2-pointer (regular field goals are worth 1; 3-pointers are worth 2) to end the game Sunday afternoon. Douglass Properties are made up of former Gonzaga standouts Josh Heytvelt and David Pendergraft, and Raivio, who played at the University of Portland.

The Sheltons – Aaron, Aubrey (varsity boys’ basketball coach for the Abes), Ben and Austin – went undefeated in Bracket IV to reach the final four. They won the 2011 Hoopfest title.
