South Kitsap, the 4A Narrows League regular-season champion, wrapped up its third league tournament title in the past four years by rallying past Bellarmine Prep, 10-9, in nine innings of the championship game Friday at SERA Fields in south Tacoma.

Sophomore Hayley Romo’s RBI single brought home Hannah Spohn from third base in the bottom of the ninth, and South Kitsap secured the No. 1 seed heading into next week’s West Central/Southwest bi-district tournament.

The Wolves had runners on at the corners with Romo up to bat with two outs.

The score was 7-7 entering extra innings, and third-seeded Bellarmine took the lead in the ninth on an inside-the-park, two-run home run by Alyssa McKiernan.

But South Kitsap scored three runs in its half of the ninth, getting two of its runs with two outs.
