Auburn Riverside High School hired Federal Way assistant Bryant Thomas as its new head football coach, the school announced Tuesday. Thomas replaces Bob Morgan, who resigned in January after six seasons coaching the Ravens.
Thomas spent the past six seasons at Federal Way — five seasons as the offensive coordinator and this past fall as the defensive coordinator. Prior to Federal Way, Thomas was an assistant coach at Idaho State.
“I am excited about the opportunity of becoming the head football coach at Auburn Riverside High School and look forward to continue building a program that the school and community will be proud of,” Thomas said in a new release.
“Bryant Thomas is a quality individual who has had success wherever he has been. We are very excited to have him as part of the staff at Auburn Riverside.” Auburn Riverside athletic director Doug Aubert said.
Thomas will also join the teaching staff at Auburn Riverside.
