Stockton first team, I respect the thought, but what about senior guard Raven Benton currently averaging 32 ppg for Federal Way? There may be a little bias in selecting a hall of famer’s daughter. Benton doesn’t even sniff second team?

I’m sure that it was just a terrible oversight that David Crisp was not included. He’s still at Clover Park and still an outstanding player. Go Warriors!

    Meikle…”OVA RATED”…who selected this team ???

  4. The BP Bugler staff “selected” the team. Nothing against any of the athletes listed, they are all hard workers and are at this level because of many years of dedication and determination.

On the other hand, name another daily newspaper in the Top 100 in circulation in America that is so blatantly dedicated to serve and promote one and only one local high school. In an athletic rich community such as ours, it’s too bad that many of the Bugler’s “selections” are based on uniform first, skills and leadership abilities second. Anyone that follows local sports know they have a tough time being fair and objective. How about putting every kid in the same uniform and select these teams based on game, not on affliation….

    Very well said UR…….
