The old are not so ragged.

And the new – the recently graduated – have plenty of springs in the legs.

For a few hours today, the two generations collide as the Abes host their sixth annual alumni game at 3 p.m. in the home gymnasium.

Some of the players included forward Justin Holt (2002 graduate); guard Leonard White (2001); Matt Kitna (1995), a center who is currently an Abes’ football assistant under his brother, Jon Kitna; even the Lincoln coach himself, Aubrey Shelton (2001), who has a state-contending team to break this winter in the Class 3A ranks.

Cost is $5 for adults, $3 for children.
