Staff reporter Kevin Manning compiled this information on the projected Class 4A playoffs:

Below will be a league-by-league look at the playoff scenarios for all Class 4A leagues in the state, as well as the projected match-ups for all of the Week 10 state play-in games and how that impacts the state playoffs.

This will be the final projection as the regular season ends tonight (in most cases).

Postseason berths: Five
Clinched: Jackson, Monroe, Edmonds-Woodway, Mariner, Lake Stevens, Arlington
Lowdown: WesCo South winner Jackson meets WesCo North winner Lake Stevens tonight for the No. 1 seed. Playoff berths firmed up last week in the South when Edmonds-Woodway beat Mariner last week.

* Week 9 schedule:
North No. 1 Lake Stevens vs. South No. 1 Jackson (winner WesCo No. 1 seed, loser No. 2 seed)
North No. 2 Monroe vs. South No. 2 Edmonds-Woodway (winner WesCo No. 3 seed, loser No. 4 seed)
North No. 3 Arlington vs. South No. 3 Mariner (winner WesCo No. 5 seed)

Postseason berths: Five
Clinched: Skyline, Woodinville, Newport, Bothell
Lowdown: Defending 4A champion Skyline defeated Bothell for the second time this season, this time Thursday by a 35-7 score to win the league title – and clinch the No. 1 seed.

* Week 9 schedule:
Crest No. 1 Bothell vs. Crown No. 1 Skyline (winner KingCo No. 1 seed, loser No. 2 seed)
Crest No. 2 Woodinville vs. Crown No. 2 Newport (winner KingCo No. 3 seed, loser No. 4 seed)
Crest No. 3 Eastlake vs. Crown No. 3 Roosevelt (winner No. 5 seed)

Postseason berths: Four, plus No. 5 seed plays pig-tail game
Clinched: Kentwood, Auburn, Kentlake
Lowdown: Kentwood, Auburn and Kentlake are locked into the North’s top three seeds, respectively. The Tahoma-Jefferson winner locks up the No. 4 seed to the playoffs. For Kent-Meridian to get to the pigtail game, the Royals would need to beat Kentridge, and for Tahoma to also win.

* Week 9 schedule:
No. 2 Auburn at No. 8Auburn Riverside @ Memorial Stadium in Auburn
No. 6 Kent-Meridian at No. 7 Kentridge @ French Field
No. 4 Tahoma at No. 5 Jefferson at Memorial Stadium in Federal Way

Postseason berth: Four, plus No. 5 seed plays pig-tail game
Clinched: Federal Way, Graham-Kapowsin, Curtis
Lowdown: the Rogers-Puyallup victor claims the No. 4 berth to districts – with the loser facing a pigtail game with the SPSL North’s fifth team to claim the league’s last district bid. But a Spanaway Lake upset of Graham-Kapowsin could make the scenario messy. Also, a Federal Way win locks up the divisional title, and sets that order for seeding. If Curtis upsets the second-ranked Eagles at home, and Graham-Kapowsin wins, a three-way tiebreaker is scheduled for Tuesday.

* Week 9 schedule:
No. 1 Federal Way at No. 3 Curtis @ Curtis High School
No. 4 Rogers at No. 5 Puyallup @ Sparks Stadium
No. 7 Spanaway Lake at No. 2 Graham-Kapowsin @ Art Crate Stadium
No. 6 Emerald Ridge at Mount Rainier @ Highline Stadium

Postseason berths: Four
Clinched: Bellarmine Prep, Central Kitsap
Lowdown: If the favorites win today – Central Kitsap over South Kitsap, and Olympia over Yelm – then Olympia would be the No. 3 seed, and South Kitsap take the No. 4 seed. If the Tornados upended the Bears, then Olympia, Yelm and South Kitsap would be in a three-way tie for the final two playoff spots, which would come down to point differential in head-to-head matchups. A Central Kitsap win is the only way the Cougars are guaranteed the No. 2 seed to districts.

* Week 9 schedule:
Gig Harbor at Bellarmine Prep @ Bellarmine Prep
South Kitsap at Central Kistap @ Silverdale Stadium
Olympia at Yelm @ Yelm High School

Postseason berths: Three
Clinched: Camas, Skyview, Union
Lowdown: After Battle Ground’s loss last week against Skyview, the league’s playoff spots were locked in. Now the only thing left is the Skyview-Union game tonight for the No. 2 seed.

Postseason berths: One
Clinched: Eastmont
Lowdown: Last week’s 28-3 win over Eisenhower clinched Eastmont (7-1) the playoff berth.

Postseason berths: Four
Clinched: Gonzaga Prep, Richland, Chiawana, Mead
Lowdown: The top two teams in the GSL will play the top two teams in the Mid-Columbia Leagues – with the winners moving on to the state playoffs.

* Week 10 schedule:
No. 2 MCC (Richland) at No. 1 GSL (Gonzaga Prep)
No. 2 GSL (Mead) at No. 1 MCC (Chiawana)

* Winners of odd numbers games will advance to play at winners of even numbered games in first round of state playoffs.
