Coaches poll: Four new teams ranked in Class 3A

Shelton, led by senior running back Ralph Kinne, comes in at No. 10 in this week's Class 3A coaches poll. The Highclimbers are 6-0 and off to their best start since 2004. Kinne set the school's single-season rushing mark last week and has 1,684 yards rushing through six games.
For the first time, The News Tribune has organized a statewide football coaches poll for the 4A, 3A, 2A and 1A classifications.
With the cooperation of more three dozen coaches from around the state, The News Tribune is releasing its eighth poll, and will update the rankings after each week in the regular season.
