I’m oldand that happens a lot…but I know that is the helmet of the West Valley (Yak) Rams. The Eagles of West Valley (Spo) are orange & black. I remember because I was an assistant softball coach at Woodway HS in Edmonds, coaching first base, when we beat them to win the ’85 state title in Mt. Vernon.Also, an early recommendation for next weeks game: Unbeaten 3A Ferndale @ once-beaten 2A Lynden. That loss came to #1 1A Kings, 42-39, in a game scheduled the day before due to cancellations. Lynden played without 2A all-state WR Zach Vis, who was also honorable mention at safety. He played his first game last week and scored twice coming back from a shoulder injury.It’ll be a good one! Now let’s fix that helmet, TM!!
