Coaches poll: Capital ascends to top spot in Class 2A

For the first time, The News Tribune has organized a statewide football coaches poll for the 4A, 3A, 2A and 1A classifications.

With the cooperation of more three dozen coaches from around the state, The News Tribune is releasing its second poll, and will update the rankings after each week in the regular season.

Coach J.D. Johnson has Capital atop the 3A coaches poll after the first week.

CLASS 4A

    Someone want to let the coaches know that Interlake is no longer 2A?

    Not to mention, how did Sequim get points in the poll when they lost 42-0?
