Mount Rainier High has hired Tremain Mack to be the school’s interim head football coach.

Mack was an assistant coach with the Rams last season. He played the University of Miami and four seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals. He made the Pro Bowl in the 1999 season as a kick returner, averaging 27.1 yards per return.

Former coach Scott Leick is now an offensive line coach at Kentwood High where his son attends.
