Here’s the final installment of our pre-preseason rankings. Here are the previous rankings:
Class 4A
Class 3A
Class 2A

Here’s the Top 5 for Class 1A:

1. Montesano (12-2 in 2011)
Bulldogs graduated plenty of talent, but have some coming back in QB Matthew Jensen, LB Elliot Mendenhall and DB Ben Ohashi

2. King’s (9-3)

OL/DL Mason Friedline, QB Billy Green and WR Caleb Taylor could provide enough firepower to send Knights to first state title game

3. Royal (9-3)
Knights welcome back five first-team all-SCAC East players

4. Cascade Christian (11-3)
Cougars have some holes to fill, but they’ve patched them nicely in each of the past three seasons when they went on to reach the state finals

5. Cle Elum/Roslyn (9-2)
RB/LB Jake Gall is the best player you probably haven’t heard of – he’d be a star at 4A and 3A schools, too
