Rain washed away first-round games of the Narrows League 4A baseball tournaments on Tuesday. Those games have been pushed back to Wednesday.
In two loser out games, South Kitsap will face Central Kitsap at 1 p.m. and Bellarmine Prep plays Stadium at 4 p.m. today. Both games are at Heidelberg Park.
In the 3A tournament, Capital beat Wilson 10-2 on Tuesday. The Cougars play Yelm at 7 p.m. today. The winner advances to meet Timberline in the finals on Thursday and the loser will be the third seed to the West Central District tournament.
Because play must be completed by Thursday, the 4A tournament won’t be completed. Narrows League baseball commissioner John Portenier said teams will be seeded to the West Central District tournament based on their finish in the league standings.
The 3A tournament can finish Thursday. However, forecasts call for heavy rain Thursday, which could away those games, too.
The WCD tournament will begin Tuesday.
Here’s the schedule, weather permitting, of course.
All games will be played at Heidelberg Park.
