G David Trimble, Davis, 6-2, Sr.
One of the most complete players in the state, Trimble devastated opponents with his passing, tenacious defense and timely shooting. Consider the point guard’s averages at the Class 4A state tournament: 11.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 6.3 assists, 3.0 steals and 1.0 block per game. Trimble was at his best in the finals when he sniffed a triple-double, totaling 10 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and five steals in a 54-44 win over second-ranked Central Valley. A three-time league MVP, Trimble is considering offers to play basketball or football in college.
