“Even if I missed I was getting my teammates open and they were getting it back to me,” said Rowland, who made 6 of 12 3-pointers on the way to scoring a team-high 26 points in the elimination game.

“I was just in a rhythm,” Rowland said.

Mount Rainier performed well offensively. Point guard Malik Rodgers came close to a triple-double, totaling 12 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists. Forward Dwane Clay had a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds and guard Adrian Davis finished with 14 points, five rebounds and four assists.

Tied at 35 at halftime, Mount Rainier (19-11) took control in the third quarter when it outscored Bothell 24-13.

The Rams will play the winner of Garfield-Jackson at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the fourth-/sixth-place game.

Kellen Webster scored a game-high 28 points – the forward connected on 8 of 12 3-pointers – while guards Zach LaVine had 17 points and five assists and Perrion Callandret chipped in 11 points, nine rebounds and five assists for Bothell (17-11).
