Football: Walker Williams to receive Semper Fidelis Bowl jersey Thursday

Walker Williams will be honored by the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl on Thursday at Tacoma Baptist. Williams is orally committed to the University of Wisconsin.

Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl Selection Tour Coming to Tacoma Baptist High School

Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl representatives are coming to Tacoma on Dec. 1 to present Tacoma Baptist High School’s Walker Williams with his invitation to the inaugural bowl game. The event will include a welcome presentation from bowl representatives and a special presentation of game apparel to Walker.

The classic East versus West gridiron matchup, presented by JuniorRank Sports in partnership with the United States Marine Corps, will feature 100 of the nation’s most highly recruited high school football players and is slated to take place on Jan. 3, 2012, in Phoenix, Ariz. at the height of bowl season.

Throughout the fall and high school football season, Semper Fidelis Bowl Selection Committee members will be focusing their attention on standout athletes around the country. Invitations to both the Semper Fidelis Bowl and the Proving Ground Football Combine will be issued over the coming months on a rolling basis until each roster is filled.
