In Friday’s paper, I wrote story headlined “How to beat Bellevue.” I spoke with three coaches — Skyline’s Mat Taylor, Liberty’s Steve Valach and Ferndale’s Jamie Plenkovich — with experience facing the Wolverines. It’s an interesting read, and different from most game previews.

Here’s a link to the game preview capsule.

For those of you going to the game tonight — it kicks off at 7:30 p.m. at Harry E. Lang Stadium in Lakewood — I’d suggest arriving earlier than usual. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m.

If you can’t make it to the stadium, but want to keep up with the action, you’re covered. You can view a webcast of the game at WashingtonPreps.com or WashingtonSportsNetwork.com (same webcast, same announcers, just two different sites). You can also listen to the game on the radio and Internet at KLAY 1180-AM.

And TNT sports writer Todd Milles will join me for a live chat here on the blog during the game. So, open up a couple tabs, watch the webcast and interact with us during the game. We’ll provide some play-by-play, stat and score updates and analysis on the game. We cover these teams all season, so no one knows them better than us. We’ll fire up the chat at 7 p.m.
