How unpredictable was the first-round of the Class 4A football state playoffs?
None of the 101 entrants in The News Tribune’s pick’em contest correctly foresaw the winners of all eight games. Just five pegged seven games right.
In Class 2A, one person picked all eight games correct and leads the 46-person contest.
The 3A first-round was easier to predict, as 21 of 73 entrants nailed each game.
I’m working to fix the results of the 1A tournament. I incorrectly advanced Meridian, instead of Toledo, and am having a heck of a time rectifying that. If need be, I’ll go through each entrant and tally up the scores this weekend.

will points be tallied overall at end ?
