CLASS 4A
1. Bellarmine Prep (9-0)
2. Woodinville (9-0)
3. Chiawana (8-0)
4. Ferris (8-1)
5. Eastlake (8-1)
6. Federal Way (9-0)
7. Mead (8-1)
8. Olympia (8-1)
9. Lake Stevens (9-0)
10. Skyview (7-2)
Next: Bethel (7-2), Eisenhower (8-1), Issaquah (7-2), Kentlake (9-0), Kentwood (7-2), Richland (7-2), Skyline (6-3), Spokane Central Valley (7-2), Union (7-2)

For the fourth time this season, we’ve got a new No. 1 in Class 4A. Narrows League 4A champion Bellarmine Prep ascends to the top spot after Woodinville ended Eastlake’s reign, downing the Wolves 17-14 last week in the KingCo title game.

Woodinville, ranked fifth last week, rose three spots to No. 2. Chiawana held steady at third, while Eastlake falls to fifth.

There’s a couple changes at the bottom of the Top 10, too. Lake Stevens climbs one spot to ninth – I was impressed by the Vikings’ resilient xx-xx win over Edmonds-Woodway in the WesCo championship game.

I knew when I did the rankings last week that the winner of the Skyview-Union game would climb into the Top 10. Both have worthy resumes and a recent track record for making playoff runs. The victim of Skyview’s inclusion in the rankings is Skyline, which falls out, despite beating Roosevelt 45-14.

CLASS 3A
1. Bellevue (9-0)
2. Lakes (9-0)
3. O’Dea (9-0)

6. Meadowdale (9-0)
7. Peninsula (8-1)

10. Mercer Island (7-2)
Next: Capital (6-3), Eastside Catholic (6-3), Kennedy Catholic (8-1), Mount Si (6-3), Mountain View (7-2), Oak Harbor (8-1)

Mercer Island pops into the rankings in place of Oak Harbor, which lost to Meadowdale last week.
