The track and field gods are smiling upon us today in Western Washington. We’ve got blue skies and maybe the first 70-degree day in 198 days for the 4A and 3A bi-district meets at Mount Tahoma Stadium.
I’ll be here all day today and Saturday, along with TNT reporter Todd Milles. We’ll be posting updates here on the blog, including some video. Count on photographer Lui Kit Wong to post a stellar photo gallery of the meet, as well. (Check out this fantastic photo he made).
We’ve also got a reporter at the 2A district meet today at Sunset Chev Stadium in Sumner. And we’ll have district softball, state baseball and state boys soccer events covered this weekend, too. So, we’re especially thankful to be able to get some sun, while covering events, instead of shielding our notebooks from rain.
You can find results of all the events here.
