Thursday’s boys and girls basketball highlights

Second-ranked Curtis held off an upset bid from Rogers, beating the Rams 69-67 in overtime. Davonte Lacy led the Vikings with 25 points and Rogers’ Kyler Shula scored 30.

Kevin Henderson tallied 22 points and nine rebounds, and Iszia Johnson chipped in 19, helping third-ranked Auburn defeat Kentlake, 74-65. Daniel Landram paced the Falcons with 21 points.

Jay Balmer scored 22 points and Erin Barber added 20 for Puyallup in its 94-69 win against Emerald Ridge. Adam Kirk led the Jaguars with 17 points.

Drakkar Sweet paced Spanaway Lake with 22 points in the Sentinels’ 62-44 victory at Graham-Kapowsin.

Stadium’s Eric Anderson-Connolly led the Tigers with 16 points in their 63-59 win at Bonney Lake.

Austin Wilson totaled 19 points and 22 rebounds and Jerron Smith poured in 25 points for Decatur in its 80-50 victory over North Kitsap.

Foss fended off River Ridge, beating the Hawks 67-64 behind 20 points from Dontia Hankins and 18 from Noah Hunthausen. Brad Wallace had 21 for River Ridge.

North Thurston’s Landon Rushton erupted for 29 points, leading the Rams to a 66-54 win at Enumclaw. Jordan Jacobson had 19 and Terenn Houk scored 17 for the Hornets.

Kevin McCrossin scored 22 points and Bryce Miller tallied 12 points and 10 rebounds in Fife’s 56-47 win at Archbishop Murphy.

Christian Paige scored a game-high 14 points as Life Christian topped Tacoma Baptist 76-20.

Bethel’s Amanda Amundson and Karina Farr each totaled 10 points and 13 rebounds in the Braves’ 45-43 win over Beamer.

Emerald Ridge’s Jasmine Parker scored 23 points and Taylor Buie added 18 as the Jaguars blitzed Puyallup, 70-26.

Jordan Asher, Kaitlin Sauders and Kalani Ulufale scored in double-figures in Rogers’ 61-36 win against Curtis.

Liz Mills scored a game-high 22 points as Kentwood thumped Jefferson, 63-21.

Spanaway Lake’s Leanne Willingham poured in 22 points in the Sentinels’ 56-40 victory over Graham-Kapowsin.

Sarah Zeitler scored 11 and Paige Narayan had 10 in Tacoma Baptist’s 41-19 win at Life Christian.
