The East rolled over the West 28-9 in the 4A/3A all-state football game at Everett Memorial Stadium on Saturday. Union’s Mitch Saylor was named the MVP after catching seven passes for 128 yards. East coach Dave Miller let his offense air out the football and Lakes defensive tackle Sione Potoa’e spearheaded a defense that held the West to just 70 yards of offense.

At the 2A/1A/B all-state game in Yakima, the East beat the West 21-17. With the West driving in East territory, Deer Park’s Alex Wolf preserved the victory with an interception in the final minute.
