About 150 recently graduated high school football players have gathered in Everett and Yakima for a week of practice and all-state games. On Saturday, Memorial Stadium in Everett is the site of the 4A/3A game and Eisenhower High School in Yakima will host the 2A/1A/B contest. We’ll have reporters at the both all-state games on Saturday. Until then, here’s what’s going on so far this week in Everett and Yakima

Here’s a story from the Everett Herald on the first day of practice for the 4A/3A game that will be played Saturday at Memorial Stadium in Everett. Lakes coach Dave Miller is the head coach of the East team. Because only a few 4A and 3A teams are in Eastern Washington, some players from Western Washington schools play for the East.

Because a few players dropped out of the game, several alternates were tapped to participate in the all-state game. Kentwood receiver Allain Songco was on of them.

The 4A/3A game will return to Spokane next year.

Here’s a story from the Yakima Herald-Republic on the 2A/1A/B all-state football game that will be played Saturday in Yakima.

Here are the rosters for the 2A/1A/B all-state game in Yakima on Saturday
