Thursday’s highlights

Beamer scored five runs in the bottom of the seventh, rallying for a 9-8 win against Graham-Kapowsin. Jeff Apigo hit a home run and drove in four runs for the Titans.

Jefferson’s Mitch McQueen earned the win and hit a home run in the Raiders’ 6-5 eight-inning victory over Kentlake.

Tahoma’s Lance Schroder went 3-for-5 with a home run, double, four RBI and two runs in the Bears’ 13-3 win at Auburn.

Gig Harbor’s David Bigelow hit a home run, helping the Tides beat Foss 10-5.

Stadium held off South Kitsap, 1-0, to cap the boys soccer regular season with a perfect 12-0-0 record. Jamael Cox scored in the 40th minute for the Tigers.

Gig Harbor secured the No. 2 seed to the Narrows League boys soccer playoffs with a 2-0 win at Olympia.

Puyallup toppled Beamer 2-0, throwing the SPSL South title chase into a three-team race between the Vikings, Titans and Decatur.

Decatur’s Elliott Klavuhn broke a scoreless tie in the 76th minute, lifting the Gators to a 1-0 win against Rogers and first place in the SPSL South standings.

Angel Ventura scored and Shane Haworth record the shutout as Emerald Ridge topped Graham-Kapowsin 1-0.

Curtis Pederson and Scott Hanson each scored two goals for Bellarmine Prep in its 4-0 win at Mount Tahoma.

Spanaway Lake’s Cara Custer scattered two hits and struck out six, leading the Sentinels to a 3-1 win at Bethel.

Kelli Crawford fanned 11, walked none and allowed four hits, pitching Franklin Pierce past Sumner 7-2.

Lakes’ Krystalani Yockman went 3-for-4 with two RBI in the Lancers’ 9-8 win against Enumclaw.
