Wednesday’s highlights

Kentwood’s Austin Voth emerged victorious in a pitching duel with Kentlake’s Zach Wright, leading the Conquerors to a 4-0 win. Voth fanned 15, gave up three hits and walked one in six innings, while Wright struck out 14 for the Falcons. Voth and Wright have each signed with the University of Washington.

Rayne Raven tossed a complete game, scattering five hits over seven innings, pitching Curtis to a 4-1 win at Beamer.

Bryan Burgher struck out 10 batters and walked one in a complete game shutout, leading Emerald Ridge over Bethel, 2-0.

Tanner Romo, Josh Fort and Jay Henson hit home runs for South Kitsap in its 11-1 win at Shelton.

Wesley Salyer went 3-for-3 and tallied three RBI, propelling Rogers to a 9-5 victory against Graham-Kapowsin. Zach White hit a home run for the Eagles.

Sumner’s Brad Falk went 3-for-3 with a home run and the Spartans topped Lakes 9-4.

Jonathan Deck fanned seven and walked none as Franklin Pierce beat Bonney Lake 5-3.

Auburn Mountainview’s Brandon Williams hit a home run and allowed one hit in five innings in the Lions’ 4-0 win against Enumclaw.

Kyle McLaughlin struck out nine batters in four innings and went 5-for-5, bashing two home runs, in Mount Rainier Lutheran’s 14-6 win at Evergreen Lutheran.

Taylor Winton hit a home run in Beamer’s 8-7 softball victory against Curtis.

Bonney Lake’s Courtney Franz earned the win and hit a home run in the Panthers’ 10-6 win at Franklin Pierce.

Cooper Doxon scored two goals for Bellarmine Prep in its 3-2 boys soccer win against Skyline.

Avery Bennet scored a goal in the 69th minute, lifting Lakes to a 1-0 win over Sumner.

Tumwater pitcher Chelsea Felton fanned 11 and gave up one hit and Katie Blomgren went 3-for-3 with a home run in the T-birds’ 5-0 win over Timberline.
