Tuesday’s highlights

Puyallup’s Scott Kuzminsky struck out 12 batters in eight innings as the Vikings beat rival Emerald Ridge 3-2 in nine innings.

Jordan Copeland, Jacob Hoffman and Rayne Raven each hit home runs for Curtis in the Vikings’ 17-4 win against Spanaway Lake. Bryan Burgher went 3-for-4 for two home runs for the Jaguars.

Austin Voth struck out 10 batters for Kentwood in its 9-1 win at Federal Way.

Brian Thomason scattered three hits in Beamer’s 13-0 victory at Bethel.

Joey Gamache drove in three runs and threw a no-hitter for Bonney Lake as the Panthers beat Clover Park 10-0 in five innings.

Sumner’s Alex Sloan crushed two home runs and Brad Falk gave up two hits and fanned 10 batters in five innings in the Spartans’ 10-0 victory over Peninsula

Jonathan Deck and Steven Cabrera each rapped four hits in Franklin Pierce’s 12-2 win against Lakes.

Curtis overcame Spanaway Lake pitcher Cara Custer’s 17-strikeout, 1-walk performance, clipping the Sentinels 4-3.

A five-run sixth inning spurred Puyallup over Emerald Ridge 8-1 in fastpitch.

Jefferson’s Katie Jackson struck out 10 and allowed two hits in the Raiders’ 3-1 win at Auburn.

Franklin Pierce’s Kelli Crawford struck out 12 as the Cardinals edged Lakes 1-0 in eight innings.

Rogers’ Ethan Golding scored in the 50th minute and goalkeeper Andrew Anderson held Puyallup scoreless as the Rams won 1-0.

Beamer’s Austin Sweeney scored two goals in the Titans’ 5-1 boys soccer win over Spanaway Lake.
