Final: Capital 49, Bonney Lake 47

Down by as many as 18, the Cougar used a feisty zone defense to shut down Bonney Lake offensively and finally got some shots to fall in slipping past the Panthers. The Cougar now face Yelm for a fourth time this season for the right to play for a trophy on Saturday.

Tosha Hollingsworth led Capital with 18 points. Marcel Pounds paced Bonney Lake with 17 points.

The Panthers are looking to redeem themselves after losing to Seattle Prep in the opening round. Bonney Lake has a comfortable, 15-point lead over the Cougars.

Bonney Lake’s Marcel Pounds, who struggled shooting the ball in the team’s opener on Wednesday, has 15 points in the first half.
