What’s next: For seeding purposes, Lincoln plays Federal Way in the district finals and Wilson meets Decatur for the third and sixth seeds. On Friday at Foss, loser-out, winner-to-state game pairings are Kentwood-Beamer and Auburn-Gig Harbor.

Still alive: Lake Washington, Skyline, Eastlake, Bothell; Mountain View and Skyview
What’s next: Lake Washington and Skyline will play for the KingCo Championship on Friday in a winner-to-state game. Loser will host the GSHL No. 2 on Saturday in a winner-to-state, loser-out game. On Thursday, Eastlake will face Bothell in a loser-out game, with the winner advancing to face the GSHL No. 1 in a winner-to-state game in Saturday.
In the GSHL, Mountain View meets Skyview on Thursday for the league’s first and second seeds.

What to watch Wednesday

Orting will try to take one step closer to returning to the boys basketball state tournament for the first time since 1993 when it hosts Nooksack Valley in the 1A Tri-District tourney.

Fifth-ranked Bellarmine Prep beat No. 2 Kentwood by 19 points in December, but can the Lions do it with a trip the West Central District girls basketball district finals on the line?

Two familiar foes will face off in the district semifinals when No. 3 Federal Way tries to knock off top-ranked Auburn Riverside for the first time in three tries this season.

Tuesday’s highlights

4A No. 6 Lincoln used a late 13-2 run to get past Decatur 57-49 and vault into the West Central District boys basketball title game. Jordan Russell led the Abes with 18 points.

4A No. 1 Federal Way never trailed in its district semifinal against Wilson, beating the Rams 67-47. Four Eagles scored in double-digits, led by Isiah Umipig’s 13 points.
