Sixteen regular season games were not enough to provide enough separation to determine some seedings and at least one entrant for 4A SPSL boys and girls basketball tournaments.
There are five tie-breaker games and a pair of mini-games slated for Tuesday night at four sites. Here’s the schedule:
Tuesday, Feb. 9
At Auburn
7 p.m. SPSL South boys tiebreaker
Mini-game 1: Beamer vs. Decatur (loser is SPSL South No. 4)
Mini-game 2: Game 1 winner vs. Puyallup (winner is SPSL South No. 2, loser is SPSL South No. 3)
At Tahoma
6 p.m. SPSL North girls tiebreaker
Auburn vs. Kentlake (winner SPSL North No. 4, loser SPSL North No. 5)
8 p.m. SPSL North girls tiebreaker
Kentwood vs. Federal Way (winner is SPSL North No. 2, loser is SPSL North No. 3)
At Emerald Ridge
6 p.m. SPSL South boys tiebreaker
Rogers vs. Bethel (winner is SPSL South No. 5, loser out)
8 p.m. SPSL South girls tiebreaker
Rogers vs. Puyallup (winner is SPSL South No. 2, loser is SPSL South No. 3)
At Bethel
7 p.m. SPSL South girls tiebreaker
Graham-Kapowsin vs. Emerald Ridge (winner is SPSL South No. 4, loser is SPSL South No. 5)
