Class 4A swimmers from the West Central District will secure spots at the state meet in the finals of today’s district meet.

Friday’s highlights

4A No. 1 Federal Way finished the SPSL North season undefeated after it beat Tahoma 95-39. Cole Dickerson powered the Eagles with 29 points.

4A No.3 Curtis capped its regular season with 65-52 win at Emerald Ridge. Davonte Lacy scored 23 and Dominique Williams had 21 for the Vikings.

Brandon Gagliardi led Gig Harbor with 12 points in the Tides’ 54-24 win at Shelton.

Lincoln beat South Kitsap 50-45 behind Jordan Russell’s 13 points. South Kitsap’s Leon LaDeaux had 15.

4A No. 7 Kentwood’s Alec Wilson erupted for 36 points, leading the Conquerors to an 88-54 win at Kentlake.

Beamer’s Kevin Davis poured in 30 points, helping the Titans edge Graham-Kapowsin 64-61. Jamaal Jones tallied 26 for the Eagles.

Dylan Zylstra scored 16 points for Kentridge as the Chargers held off Kent-Meridian 54-52.

Mount Tahoma handed Olympia its third straight loss, winning 60-43. The Bears’ Alex Weber-Brader scored a game-high 25 points.

Drew Dixon led Timberline with 20 points as the Blazers beat Yelm 64-43.

In their third meeting this season, 2A No. 5 Fife clipped 2A No. 6 Steilacoom 53-51. Maazin Butler led the Trojans with 16 points, hitting 3-of-6 3-pointers. Kelvin Penn scored 21 points for the Sentinels.

Cody Shackett scored 19 points as 1A No. 3 Cascade Christin won 76-39 at Orting.

4A No. 1 Auburn Riverside completed the regular season undefeated by beating Jefferson 66-48. Mercedes Wetmore led the Ravens with 25 points.

Bethel’s Jesstine Yost led the Braves with 10 points and 10 rebounds. I ntheir 35-29 win over Spanaway Lake.

Olympia’s Marnie Brown tallied 18 points and 18 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough as Mount Tahoma overcame the Bears 58-55.

Beamer’s Ludomir Wanot took first place in the 4A West Central District diving competition, scoring 374.85 points.
