Kentwood can help solidify its postseason hopes with a win tonight at late game of the Kent Shootout, but the Conquerors will have to beat 4A No. 8 Kentridge and Gary Bell.

Thursday’s highlights

Bellarmine Prep’s boys basketball team beat Mount Tahoma 63-53 and moved into a tie for first place in the Narrows League Bay Division with Olympia. Donald Gaddy paced the Lions with 19 points and nine rebounds.

Lincoln’s Terrell Lewis went 6-for-8 from the field, including three 3-pointers, and scored 16 points in the Abes’ 52-42 win over Gig Harbor as Lincoln maintained its lead in the Bridge Division.

Four Wilson players hit double-digits in the Rams’ boys 73-42 win against Shelton.

4A No. 3 Curtis clinched a share of the SPSL South with its 77-48 win over Graham-Kapowsin. Davonte Lacy poured in 26 points for the Vikings and Jamaal Jones led the Eagles with 19.

Jordan McCloud turned in a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds as Decatur beat Bethel 71-53.

Cole Dickerson scored 29 points as 4A No. 1 Federal Way rolled over Jefferson 72-45.

Puyallup ;s boyts won their sixth straight game, beating Emerald Ridge 73-64.

Mount Tahoma’s girls handed 4A No. 6 Bellarmine Prep its first Narrows League loss, beating the Lions 60-53. Deborah Anderson led the T-birds with 29 points and Kaitlyn Bunger had 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Puyallup’s Justine Berry and Mandy Malkuch each had double-doubles in the Vikings’ 47-35 victory over Emerald Ridge

Jenna Dewalt led Gig Harbor with 23 points in the Tides’ 66-55 win against Lincoln.

Orting, the state’s top-ranked wrestling squad, beat Vashon 46-27 and won the Nisqually League 1A title. Nine wrestlers won their matches by recording pins in less than a minute. Orting’s Drew Templeman was the fastest, winning the 125-pound match in 11 seconds.
