Hey Doug -
Kinda puzzled to see Lake Stevens left out of the TNT rankings. The Vikes finished 22-6 last season, 8th in state, soundly beating Jackson (by 16) and getting past Decatur in the State tourney as well.
The Vikes return 11 players and four starters, and it seems really odd that 14-10 Jackson, 10-10 Ferris, and the Decatur team they beat at State would all rank ahead of Lake Stevens.
Just FYI.
14-10 jackson is ahead of you guys because they have most likely the best guard combo in the state. two D-1 guards that can do any thing. im not a jackson fan, went to stanwood, i'm not saying that you guys arent going to be good, but jackson just added another 20 points on average to their team and didn't lose anyone in significance to their success.
last years records dont have anything to do with this year, teams that had bad records last year, or that you beat last year, doesn't mean that you should automatically be ahead of them in rankings. plus its just preseason rankings, give them some games and see how they do and then comment on things. but I think these rankings (for preseason) is pretty good.
