Former Curtis standout and current Tacoma Community College wing Chad Rasmussen has given an oral commitment to play basketball at Seattle University in 2010-11. Rassmussen, a 6-foot-7 freshman, will play this season at TCC before transferring to the Division I program led by coach Cameron Dollar.

“ We are all so excited for Chad,” TCC coach Carl Howell said. “He is a great shooter with a tremendous work ethic and even a better kid. Cameron and his staff will love coaching him.”

As a senior at Curtis, Rasmussen averaged 15 points per game and shot 41.8 percent from beyond the 3-point line. He was also a two-time first-team all-SPSL South selection.
