We’ve safely made it through Day 1 of Star Track XXVII at Mount Tahoma. About a quarter of the events were held on Thursday, with finals in the 3200 for all three classifications and seven field events.

You can find the results of the finals and the top-eight qualifiers in each of the prelims — boys 110-meter hurdles, girls 100-meter hurdles, girls 4×200-meter relay and boys and girls 4×400-meter relays — at our scoreboard right here.

The first round of the state golf tournaments are complete and a pair of South Sound golfers are leading their respective events.

Enumclaw’s Jake Erickson is tied with Daniel Snoey of Camas atop the 3A boys event with scores of 72. Timberline’s Cameron Peck lurks in third with 73.
