Rain postpones softball games

Rain has forced the postponement of softball tournaments. For the second straight day, the Narrows League softball tournament has been pushed back a day.


The SPSL softball tournament and scheduled for today has also been postponed to tomorrow.


Here’s the updated Narrows League softball tournament schedule:


Friday

At SERA


Game 1: Bellarmine Prep vs. Gig Harbor, 3:30 p.m. (winner WCD No. 5)

Game 2: Shelton vs. Olympia, 3:30 p.m. (loser out)

Game 3: Mount Tahoma vs. Foss, 3:30 p.m. (loser out)

Game 4: South Kitsap vs. Central Kitsap, 3:30 p.m. (winner No. 3, loser No. 4 to WCD)

Game 5: Wilson vs. Stadium, 3:30 p.m. (winner No. 1, loser No. 2 to WCD)


Monday

At SERA


Game 6: G1 loser vs. Lincoln, 3:30 p.m. (loser out)

Game 7: G2 winner vs. G3 winner, 3:30 p.m. (loser out)


Tuesday

At SERA


Game 8: G4 winner vs. G5 winner, 3:30 p.m. (Winner No. 6 to WCD, loser out)


The SPSL has changed its format and will now use crossover matchups as it does in baseball and boys soccer.


Friday

At Service Fields, Kent

Game 1: Tahoma vs. winner of Beamer-Bethel play-in game, 4 p.m. (winner No. 9, loser No. 10 to WCD)

Game 2: Kentlake vs. Spanaway Lake, 4 p.m. (winner No. 7, loser No. 8 to WCD)

Game 3: Jefferson vs. Puyallup, 4 p.m. (winner No. 5, loser No. 6 to WCD)

Game 4: Auburn Riverside vs. Rogers, 6 p.m. (winner No. 3, loser No. 4 to WCD)

Game 5: Kentwood vs. Emerald Ridge, 6 p.m. (winner No. 1, loser No. 2 to WCD)
