Here are The News Tribune’s all-state boys and girls basketball teams.

BOYS

PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Abdul Gaddy, PG, 6-3, Sr., Bellarmine Prep

What more can we say about Gaddy? The two-time TNT All-Area Player of the Year is as pure a point guard as you’ll find. A smooth passer with an eye for the open teammate, Gaddy can also score in bunches. Before he reports to the University of Washington, Gaddy will play in the McDonald’s All-American game and the Nike Hoops Summit.

COACH OF THE YEAR

Jason Kerr, Franklin

Molded the Quakers into an unselfish, 3A state championship-winning bunch

FIRST TEAM

Steven Bjornstad, C, 6-10, Sr., Columbia River

Nevada-bound big man led his school to its first state final

Anthony Brown, W, 6-5, Sr., Shadle Park

Athletic shooter takes his big-time talent to Washington State

Peyton Siva, PG, 6-1, Sr., Franklin

McDonald’s All-American won 3A title; will play at Louisville

Joshua Smith, F, 6-9, Jr., Kentwood

The SPSL North MVP has his choice of colleges to attend

Tony Wroten, G, 6-5, Soph., Garfield

Super-talented 15-year-old led the Bulldogs to the 4A finals

SECOND TEAM

Gary Bell, G, 6-1, Soph., Kentridge

Cole Dickerson, F, 6-7, Jr., Federal Way

John Gage, C, 6-10, Jr., Vashon

Joe Harris, G, 6-5, Jr., Chelan

Marcus Tibbs, G, 6-1, Sr., Decatur

(You don’t know who Joe Harris is? Gonzaga, Washington, Washington State and other schools do. The point guard with a 6-foot-5 frame is drawing college coaches to the summer vacation town in the dead of winter. Harris averaged 24.7 ppg, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, 3 blocks and hit 41 percent of his 3-point attempts.)

GIRLS

PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Lindsey Moore, G, 5-10, Sr., Kentwood

The Gatorade State Player of the Year is a complete player. Capable of averaging 30 points per game, she unselfishly looked for teammates. The result was a 28-1 season and the Class 4A state championship this season. The two-time SPSL North MVP will play at the University of Nebraska.

COACH OF THE YEAR

Tom Mummert, Kennedy

With targets on their backs, he guided the Lancers to an undefeated season

FIRST TEAM

Carly Noyes, C, 6-5, Sr., Moses Lake

Two-time all-state selection will play at Washington State

Brittany Gray, F, 5-11, Sr., Bainbridge

She’ll join older brother Steven at Gonzaga after scoring 17.8 ppg

Katie Benson, F, 6-1, Sr., Snohomish

Led Panthers to 4A title game; has signed with Seattle Pacific

Jeneva Anderson, F, 6-0, Sr., Lewis & Clark

After winning two state titles, Anderson will play at Washington

Daidra Brown, G, 5-7, Sr., Kennedy

Southern Louisiana-signee can score, rebound, pass and steal

SECOND TEAM

Sarah Kliewer, F, 6-1, Sr., Lewis & Clark

Erin Feeney, G, 5-8, Jr., Jackson

Marcissa McMillan, C, 6-2, Sr., Lindbergh

Erika Johnson, G, 6-1, Soph., Holy Names

Kelsey Patrick, G, 6-0, Sr., Kamiak
