The first Washington state high school baseball rankings are out, which I have posted below. There are few surprises here, with defending Class 4A champion Jackson ranked No. 1 for 4A. Auburn, one of the favorites to win the Class 3A title, is ranked No. 1 for Class 3A, and Mark Morris is ranked No. 1 for Class 2A.
Peninsula and Bonney Lake, two teams that should compete for the Class 3A title this season, were left off the list. But they have some time to work their way onto the rankings this season.

Also, Auburn is ranked No. 22 by Baseball America .
