Lake Stevens ended Kentlake’s season with a win over the Falcons. Mary Ochiltree scored a game-high 19 points for the Vikings, including four 3-pointers.
The Falcons seemed to have trouble maintaining their intensity for a full game, but Kentlake coach Scott Simmons believes his team will be back next year, and perhaps they can bring home a trophy next season.
“The kids realize they have some talent,” he said. “They know they can do some things. They put their best foot forward most of the year and that got them here.”
Freshman Morganne Comstock led Kentlake (14-13) with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
