Kentwood girls on the ropes

It’s easy to understand why the Greater Spokane league is considered the toughest girls basketball league in the state. Mead, the third-place team from that league, is leading undefeated Kentwood 32-29 at the half. Courtney Vandersloot has 12 points for Kentwood. Jazmine Redmon and Kelli Valentine each have eight points for the Panthers.

Both teams are pushing the ball up the floor. Should be a entertaining second half.
