It wasn’t dull, but the Gators managed to prevail thanks to superior question and a couple key steals and layups from Stedman Richardson and Marcus Tibbs as the clock wound down to secure the win.


Richardson and Michael Hale had 16 points each to lead Decatur, while , Darious Walker added 11 points and eight rebounds and Tibbs had 10.


Despite being undersized, Decatur still outrebounded Snohomish 27-22, including 14-4 on the offensive rebounds.


Snohomish was led by Zach Wilde’s 15 points. Leading scorer and Loyola Marymount signee Tim Diedrichs finished with just 2 points on 1-of-5 shooting.
