The Vikings have certainly looked at home in the T-Dome, shooting a solid 48.3 percent from the field to start the game. Senior forward David Niehl is all but unstoppable against the undersized the Bulldogs. Niehl has 14 points in the first half. Teammate Erik Evans has nine points, including a sweet reverse layup off an offensive rebound right before halftime.
If there is any negative it was that Curtis was shooting too many 3-pointers early on, but head coach Lindsay Bemis has gotten his players to work the ball inside a little more to Niehl.
Pasco stud shooting guard Shayne Kelly has seven points on 3-of-8 shooting from the field. But Curtis has done a decent job of getting out and defending him on the perimeter.
