Four local girls soccer players will see each other on the field again next season wearing different uniforms.

South Puget Sound League rivals and club teammates Jill Jensen of Emerald Ridge and Bre Rowe of Federal Way will remain on the field together when they suit up for Oregon in the fall.

When the Ducks battle Oregon State, Jensen and Rowe will face current club teammate Courtney Wetzel of Puyallup.

Another local is in the Pac-10 mix farther south, as Charles Wright’s Jorden Kussmann signed with California.

The Ducks finished second in the conference in 2006, while California advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament. Oregon State was last in the conference in 2006.

Kussman, who led Charles Wright to the second round of the 1B/2B/1A state tournament in 2006, was named Washington’s A player of the year for the 2006 season.

Other local signees include Jefferson’s Michelle Borth (New Jersey Institute of Technology) and South Kitsap’s CJ Balstad (Central Washington).
