Gov. Chris Gregoire appears ready to endorse a state Lottery plan to increase the daily Keno drawing to a once-every-four-minutes drawing in an attempt to increase state profits from gambling. My column on the game is here.
The same proposal would install big TV monitors in bars and taverns that feature the game so gamblers can watch the results as they are drawn. The set-up would be similar to the Oregon Keno game.
