Good morning on the last day for policy committees to hear bills this year. That deadline should make it a busy day, and legislators then plan to work through Saturday and Sunday. What to watch for:
- The Senate Judiciary Committee is starting up this morning on the House constitutional amendment on bail. Committee Chairman Adam Kline has just signed off on a less sweeping change than the House bill, so the committee will probably agree to adopt his version, setting up a confrontation with the House.
- We’ll see whether House Democrats put out their tax package today.
