Senators have been called back to Olympia today and floor action is possible this afternoon. A Senate Rules Committee meeting has been scheduled for 2:30 p.m. that is expected to bring a series of bills to the floor.

But although this week’s revenue forecast seemed to brighten hopes for a resolution to the budget standoff, Gov. Jay Inslee’s budget office is continuing planning for a potential state-government shutdown in case a budget deal isn’t reached by June 30.

The Office of Financial Management is releasing details this morning of how agencies could legally respond to a partial shutdown.
