A recent Seattle Times story highlighted that state Attorney General Rob McKenna has accepted $184,000 in free travel – including trips to Washington, D.C., and overseas to Israel and Japan – paid by private sources since he took office in 2005. But it turns out that isn’t the whole story. McKenna also took trips on official state business that were paid by taxpayers, and one in July to Disneyland included a campaign fundraiser.
