Former president Bill Clinton is coming to Seattle to raise funds for Jay Inslee’s gubernatorial campaign for governor on Saturday afternoon. The high-priced event is at 1 in the Washington State Trade and Convention Center, and Inslee’s team says more than 2,000 people are expected.

Inslee campaign spokeswoman Jaime Smith said tickets start at $150 and run up to $5,000 for a photo with Clinton. The event had sold out but after moving it to the larger convention venue the campaign now has additional $150 tickets and $25 student tickets are now available.

Inslee is in a close race against Republican Rob McKenna, and each candidate has raised more than $8.3 million so far. But Inslee has been helped from Democratic Party donations of more than $1.47 million and transfers from his former congressional accounts.
