Tuesday in Tampa was beyond description! A long day starting at 9 a.m., breakfast with Gov. McDonnell from Virginia. He was a great speaker. Unknown to us until this morning that protesters tried to interrupt his speech to us but were intercepted before they even got close.

The convention session started at 2 p.m. and went until 11 p.m. A new highlight in my life to stand behind Dino Rossi when he announced our vote totals for Washington — 38 for Romney and 5 for Paul. I don`t know if I can explain what it is like to be on the floor of the convention. After all the hard work and campaigning to get here and see our votes from Thurston County for Romney, I was proud that we stood tall.

The speakers were exceptional and I was excited by their messages. It will be fun to watch Mia Love out of the new 4th Congressional district in Utah to see if she can win that seat from an incumbent Democrat. Ann Romney’s talk was great! and I loved Walker and Christie’s talks.

After last nights session we went to a great concert by Trace Adkins. It was fun to be just 20 feet away.
