Young, a Republican business consultant from Gig Harbor, today reported raising $11,000 in the second quarter as he tries to defeat the rest of a crowded field to take on Derek Kilmer.

Young also has loaned his campaign more than $102,000.

He had more than $33,000 in his campaign bank account as of June 30, trailing Kilmer and Bill Driscoll by far but close behind Doug Cloud.

Young’s biggest contributors include farmer Frank Dickson and Port Townsend Paper Manager Roger Loney.
